New Art Courses for March

Now that the trees and flowers are beginning to blossom, I am reenergized and looking forward to a more artistic, creative month.    So many happenings….first of all, I am honored to have my fused glass jewelry designs in the Whatcom Art Market in Fairhaven.  If you want to take a look and see more than 50 local artists’ works, the market is open Thurs-Sunday, 10-5 in Finnegan’s Alley.

Also, Kate Studio has been buzzing with children as we begin our children’s classes.  For the next few weeks, we’ll be creating a variety of types of self-portraits and after that, a series of sculpture classes for kids grade 1-8, from March 31 - May 5 (with no class April. 7) ($55 for 5 weeks)

For adults, I am pleased to offer our popular fused glass parties.  On Monday, March 9th (7pm) and Sunday, March 29th (3pm) Bring a friend and have a blast creating a fused glass necklace and earrings OR a 5” decorative fused glass plate.  These classes are a lot of fun, and so much more rewarding when you can WEAR or USE your finished creation! ($35)  I am really flexible about dates for glass fusing, so if these dates don’t work for you and you and a friend want to come by and have some fun in the studio, please let me know!
